Logging has begun. As a nature lover, I have to say, it pains me to see the trees going down. We have had 5 large trees come down around the house this year! 2 on Ida and Veras fence line which was the final straw. Many of the trees are diseased or dead and it’s time to get a clean slate. This will not only give new healthy trees a chance to thrive but will also give us more to fence in for the animals. Next year we will be in need of hundreds of feet of fencing, along with gates and posts. We also have two more shelters to get up. One for the cows and one for the future pig fostering area. We have had to deny many animals this year due to our space constraints and we look forward to fixing that soon!
